Here's a nice Saturday afternoon: Woke from an hour nap, went downstairs, laid on the couch, read my favorite magazine, and ate somewhere between 5-10 chocolates from the assortment box of Harry Londons Clayde gave me for X-mas.
I sound incredibly lazy until you hear that I also cleaned out my disastrous bathroom closet, my nightstand, and my ancient jewelry box that had precious bobbles from Jr. High still in it.
It's not all entirely perfect. Indy had a rough night last night for some reason (waking a lot) and this was part of the inspiration for a full blown temper tantrum at the mall. Full blown = carrying him out to the parking lot wailing. We haven't experienced that in a long time. He's a pretty subdued kid and behavior like this is always a shocker. We all recovered and now he's working on hour #3 of a nap.
I am just sitting here with my chocolate hangover tackling the question: What do you do as a family on Saturday night when the kid gets up at 6pm and bedtime is at 8:30?
