Clayde likes to tell me that immortality is memories and stories of loved ones, of course, but also random stuff: like the amazing depression-era weed picking tool her mother had that Clayde still uses to get grass out of my brick front walk.
Lots of things will keep Clayde with us always, but I would not be surprised if Indy will always remember how she cut and fed him an apple every day they were together.
